Day 28 ✅

Upper body today, and I’m definitely starting to notice the difference in how some of these movements feel compared to the beginning of the month.

And yes, I had to check the arms before I left. 😂

Two days left.

I found out today that someone was sitting inside

I found out today that someone was sitting inside my restaurant, eating her lunch, while talking to one of my employees about me, while I was there! Things like how I dress, what she has "heard" about me and what I post on Facebook.

Apparently there was even a question about where my pole was. 😂

And you know what?

It honestly didn’t hurt my feelings.

Because at 52, I am way past dressing, posting, living, or shrinking myself according to what makes another woman comfortable.

You don’t have to like how I dress.
You don’t have to like what I post.
You don’t even have to like me.

But if you’re sitting in the business I built, eating food my team prepared, while discussing me with my employees… at least understand the irony. 😂

I spent enough years worrying about what other people might think.

I’m not spending the next half of my life doing it too.

Day 28 ✅

Tonight was more about flexibility and mobility than strength work.

I spent some time slowing down, stretching, and working through a few movements that I want to get better at instead of trying to push weight.

Two days left in this reset.

President Trump issued a proclamation yesterday ordering U.S. flags at half-staff through sunset September 1 in honor of Dolly Parton, and Governor Tate Reeves followed it with an order for U.S. and Mississippi flags on buildings and grounds across Mississippi beginning at 6 PM yesterday. 💕

Day 25 ✅

Just checking in tonight.

No weights today — active recovery, mobility, core work, and a little time slowing everything down after yesterday’s upper-body workout.

I’m actually starting to appreciate these days more than I used to. They still count, and I usually feel better when I’m done.

Day 24 ✅

Upper body today.

Saturday was lower body, yesterday was mobility, and today we started making a few little tweaks and bumping some of the weight up.

Nothing drastic — just enough to make the sets feel challenging again.

Dear Victoria’s Secret,

I need you to bring back these ribbed modal pajamas.

Immediately.

I bought three or four pairs when they came out and have literally stitched up every single hole they’ve ever gotten because I refuse to let them die.

At this point, they are being held together by loyalty and thread.

Please stop discontinuing the good stuff.
